The declared capacity is 6 people, so imagine how luxurious this is when you have no less than 192 ft² (17.8 m²) of the inner area plus 41 ft² (3.8 m²) under the porch. This gives around 32 ft² (3 m²) of the inner area per person. So the declared capacity here is very generous, and this is not always so as you can read in my separate textwhere I discuss the issue of the tent capacity. The tent has mesh on the doors, and in addition to this, they have added several vents. You have low vents on the long sides plus a large rear vent behind the bedrooms area. the inner bedrooms have openings that match the rear vent so you can keep them open for more air, see one in the picture: Inner bedrooms with vents. It is large and spacious, with easily enough headroom for my 6'1' husband to wander around in. The bedroom area was just the right size for a double airbed, a single z-rest and a double SIM. There is also a wide gap between the inner tent canopy and the shell, so this is useful to reduce condensation.You also have 2 steel poles 1.8 m each and these are used for the side awning; the pole sections are 60 cm. The fabric Tensioning can be difficult causing difficulty in zipping up doors but maybe it was our inexperience The tent body is the fly, the same material is everywhere, so it is fully waterproof with taped seams. You have a 3000 mm hydrostatic head. This is a great value and comparable to some winter tents. See more about the waterproof rating in my separate text. The bigger part of the tent is a single layer, but the sleeping zone is a tent within the tent so you have a double-layer structure where you need it. The floor is fully waterproof, taped, and sewn-in so you have a complete protection from all sides. There are two doors, one is under the porch so it is fully protected from the rain and this is a dry entry point. The other door is on the side.Accommodating up to ten people, the Quest Touareg Bell is a tipi-style tent perfect for summer camping with large families. During the summer, roll up the sides and enjoy the spacious socialising area. In the winter, roll down the sides and socialise comfortably around the single central pole. Stay cool in warmer weather and comfy in the winter with the 100% cotton canvas flysheet equipped with breathing and insulating properties. Regarding the area, the tent is officially for 6 people. For this it offers no less than 202 ft² (18.8 m²). This means 33.4 ft² (3.1 m²) per person, so you have a generous space indeed. Bought this tent on a friends recommendation we now have a group of friends (5 families) all with Hampton 6’s and we all love them! Others have gone into the detail of the tent so here are my more general comments.
