This is a great, summery lager with similar taste and feel to a Corona. It’s a solid replacement with much lower carbs and calories, coming it at only 3g carbs and 89 calories per bottle. Pretty new in the UK but over the past couple of months seems to be available everywhere, from chain and independent pubs as well as most supermarkets. The taste is like a lighter Budweiser (obviously) – very malty and rice-like. Skinny Lager is gluten removed to a value of <10ppm (lower than the 20ppm threshold). This means that we meet the strict range of criteria as set out and closely monitored by the Coeliac Society to ensure that we are gluten free, both in terms of our ingredients and our production process.

This criteria includes testing for gluten using a UKAS accredited laboratory which we do for EVERY batch. Also our production facilities must meet the requirements of the AOECS Standard for Gluten Free Foods.
