I have a feeling the constant 1 bar of mobile signal at home is having a negative impact on battery life, but at least the battery is doing better than my old phone so I can't complain.. Ok I thought cancelling the "Transfer directly from phone" was a mistake. I reset the new 12 Mini and scavenged what data I could from iCloud, since at this point I had already reset the old phone to factory default. The seven-element lens and brighter aperture are two things that lead to sharper images overall and cleaner image capture in low light. You can also now capture Night Mode images on both the ultrawide and True Depth selfie camera, which is something you couldn’t do on the iPhone 11. Despite this, the iPhone 12 mini is among the best phones for video you can buy and, if you don’t worry too much about Dolby Vision and up the frame rate from 30fps to 60fps, you get full stabilisation at 4K. That’s still not something all smartphones can deliver.

iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini are splash-, water-, and dust-resistant, and were tested under controlled laboratory conditions and have a rating of IP68 under IEC standard 60529 (maximum depth of 6 meters up to 30 minutes). The 12 Mini is meant to have 4 antenna's compared to only 2 for older phones (I think the last iPhone to have 2 antennae was the 11). But placed in the usual spot in the room the 12 Mini constantly only has 1 bar of mobile reception, while my older iPhone 7 had 2 bars? I switched the mobile data on the 12 Mini to "4G only" but still get the same result.

Well I could already use the new iPhone, so I thought everything was Transferred and the old phone just experienced some kind of error, so I just tapped "cancel" on the old iPhone. I ended up doing less on the iPhone 12 mini because of its small size, which could be a good thing if you spend too much time on a phone, but it just meant I needed other devices to get whatever it was done. The assurance that the unit meets Apple's premiere quality standards, and that its defective components have been replaced by genuine Apple components As for image quality, that’s pretty much the same as you get with the iPhone 12. It isn’t a world away in terms of quality from the iPhone 11. In low light, on the main camera, you’ll see slightly better colours and a cleaner image than you did before. In good light, however, there’s not an awful lot to choose between last year’s models and the iPhone 12 mini. Not that this is a bad thing as the iPhone 11’s main camera was already pretty good.
