About this deal

As well as using our Huda Beauty Makeup Remover Balm, you can also use other powerful makeup removers to remove Life Liner:

We worked with the best balm makers to create a balm I’m so obsessed with (it smells ahhhhmazing!); it removes everything from your Life Liner and a full cake face to daily oil and grime. Enriched with Cherry Blossom extract, the balm gently removes makeup and leaves your skin feeling soft and conditioned, so even when you’re not using Life Liner, this is a great first step in your cleansing routine. It was really important that this should be a liner tool that could do it all, so we created two formulas and combined them so you’ll always have everything you need. The Liquid Liner in Very Vanta Step 1: Open the liquid side of the liner and wipe off any excess formula from the brush on a tissue or your hand. If you’re a beginner, start by tracing the shape of your wing using a pencil, as this is a lot easier to remove than liquid liner. Once you’ve worked out the shape, apply the liquid liner on top and neaten with a Q-tip wherever necessary. If you’re going for a softer look, use a pencil instead of a liquid eyeliner, like the pencil on our double-sided Huda Beauty Life Liner Duo Pencil & Liquid Eyeliner. Create a small wing at the outer corner of your lashes and smoke it out using an angled eyeliner brush along the outer corner of your upper and lower lash line. The result is a soft, gorgeous smoky eye. Eyeliner Tip #9: Find the Right Wing for Your Eye ShapeHuda Beauty is an entirely cruelty free brand; the company, manufacturers and suppliers do not test on animals. Add drama: For extra drama, apply it along your lower lash line on the outer corner and smudge it out to soften the look. Tip: You can also remove with a waterproof or strong performing oil-based eye makeup remover. Soaking a cotton pad in makeup remover, apply on the eyes massaging gently to break up the formula Ingredients Option 2: You can also remove Life Liner with a waterproof or strong performing oil-based eye makeup remover. Soaking a cotton pad in makeup remover, apply on the eyes massaging gently to break up the formula.

While it may seem strange to start with your wing, by beginning at the outermost corner, it’s a lot easier to get the angle right so that it lifts and snatches your eye instead of bringing it downwards. Chanel Temple, global makeup artist for Hourglass Cosmetics, agrees, “I always start with the wing by marking the outermost corner of your eye and drawing a thin line, angled slightly upward.” Eyeliner Tip #5: Outline The Shape Of The Wing I often use a pencil liner to create intensity with my look and to tightline my eyes, so adding a pencil formula was essential. The creamy formula is made with a blend of silicone resins and other unique ingredients to help it glide on effortlessly and last for eight hours of smudge-proof color. The formula also has a little playtime so you can smudge and smoke it out to your desired finish. We fitted the pencil liner with a twist-up system so you’ll never have to worry about sharpening your liner. The liner needed to give precise application and deliver intense color, so we decided on a brush, as felt tips just don’t give the most intense pigment payoff. I was SO particular about how the brush should be as the applicator is just as important as the formula for getting snatched liner. Now you can create any look imaginable on every eye shape, from a thin line to a bold, dramatic stroke.

Step 1: From the outer corner of your eye draw the diagonal line outwards (use the natural curve of your bottom lash line as a guide to draw upwards for a lifted effect). One of the most important rules when it comes to applying winged eyeliner is getting the angle of the wing right. However, this is different for everyone, as we all have our own unique eye shapes. For example, to accentuate round eyes, you can create the illusion of added width by adding a bold wing to the outer corners. If you have a hooded lid, then the type of wing you create will be very different to someone who has deep-set eyes. Play around with different angles, wing shapes and sizes, and wing placements to find the shape that you feel sexiest in.

To make sure every liner lover found their new holy grail liner, we created a dual-ended liner: At one end a liquid liner and at the other, a soft pencil. This means you can do absolutely everything with it, from a perfect wing or graphic liner look to tightlining your eyes and smudging out your look. The Inspiration Behind Life Liner: Get creative: You can also use the liner as a base for an intense smokey eye or for creating graphic liner looks. Sign up for the Life Liner waitlist here. Remove Life Liner with Our New Huda Beauty Makeup Remover BalmTo use the Huda Beauty Makeup Remover Balm, apply a dime-sized amount to eyelids and gently massage the formula to dissolve makeup. Add water, and the balm texture transforms into a milky texture that washes away easily. Step 3: Complete the line by starting from the inner corner of your eye and drawing the liner in toward the center of the lid. Option 1: Gently massage an oil-based cleanser or waterproof, oil-based makeup remover onto eyelids to dissolve Life Liner. Then rinse with warm water and wipe away any excess formula with a cotton pad soaked in makeup remover. Tightline: My fave thing to do is to tightline the upper lash line (underneath your lashes), which adds intensity to your look and helps make your lashes look fuller. My top tip is to stay in the center and don’t go too close to the tear duct or outer corner, otherwise, it could smudge.
