About this deal

This unique gin is made using milk from Irish dairy farmers in County Cork. Instead of the usual neutral alcohol base made from grain, Bertha’s Revenge Irish Milk Gin starts its life as a spirit made from whey, a byproduct that is often discarded during cheese production. The casks we have crafted are 250-liter hogsheads, slow-toasted using oak fire, then given a level 3 char. The Irish oak amplifies the flavour of the bourbon casks while adding layers of sweetness and bready, woody, earthy notes. Our Glendalough Wild Botanical Gin review. This is a highly-original, fresh-tasting gin from Ireland. Most gins are made of juniper berries, coriander, angelica root, orris root, and licorice. However, Glendalough gin is made of a variety of botanicals, including wildflowers, fruits, and herbs. Another thing to keep in mind is the color of the gin. Glendalough Rose Gin is a beautiful pink color, so it’s a good idea to serve it in a glass that shows it off. A highball glass or wine glass are both good choices.

There are many different types of gin on the market, but which one should you buy if you’re looking for a pink gin? Glendalough gin is made with a base of Irish grain spirit and distilled using a copper pot still. The botanicals are carefully selected to create a unique flavor profile that reflects the natural beauty of Glendalough. If you are looking for a delicious and refreshing gin to enjoy this summer, Bosford Rose Gin is a great choice. What is Glendalough gin made of?Whiskey is representative of traditional Ireland. There’s a long history of whiskey in Ireland. We’ve had whiskey here for hundreds of years – in fact, Ireland’s oldest continuously operating whiskey, Old Bushmills has been distilling whiskey since 1608. There are a few typically Irish whiskies – Old Bushmills, Jameson, Tullamore, Teeling, Redbreast, and you’ll find them in most traditional Irish pubs. To ensure the future of our native oak forests these trees are harvested under a Continuous Cover Forest Management System in which we plant seven saplings for every one oak tree felled. Don’t mess with Bertha. Big Bertha was a legendary cow from Co Kerry. Something of a local celebrity, she is entered into the Guinness Book of World Records – she lived some 49 years and gave birth to 39 calves! And when she died, she was so famous that they held a wake for Bertha. Now that we have what we think are the best Irish gins out of the way, it’s time to see what else is on offer. There are a few different mixers that work well with pink gin. Some people prefer to mix it with tonic water, while others prefer to mix it with cranberry juice or grapefruit juice. It all depends on your preferences and what you think will taste the best.

This fresh and fruity spirit is produced in small batches with bilberry, ox eye daisy, pine needles, watermint, sloe fruit, woodruff and rose. If you happen to crave even more rose in your Irish gin, Glendalough Distillery also produces a rose-rich expression. Rose gin is a deliciously floral spirit that can be enjoyed in a variety of ways. Here’s a guide on how to drink rose gin like a pro! Micil Irish Gin has a perfumed and unique palate that helped it win Best Irish Contemporary Gin at the 2022 World Gin Awards. Made on the 300 acre Echlinville Estate, the Jawbox Classic Dry Gin is situated on the historic Ards Peninsula near Belfast.
