About this deal

Beyond this, enclosures are a great way to reduce the sound of a printer. Creality offers a custom fit enclosure for the Ender 3 which can further reduce the sound of the printer, and is compatible with both of these machines. Also, if you’re planning to print in ABS, an enclosure is critical since keeping a higher ambient temperature prevents parts from warping at the corners. Print Quality Both the Ender 2 Pro and the Ender 3 V2 come with everything you need to get started with your first test prints. Not only does it come with the tools you need to assemble it, but it also comes with some PLA filament to get you started. I had a small sample of Extrudr ASA filament so I thought I could try it out on the Ender 2 Pro with the Flexy Puppy to see how well does it handle higher temperature filaments. As you can see, the quality is pretty good on sections where there’s not a lot of retraction needed. In other places, there is inconsistent extrusion and I blame this on the high pressure which builds up in the hotend.

The Ender 2 Pro and Ender 3 V2 are compatible with all popular slicers. However, the best standard profiles can be found in the Creality Slicer and Cura. Because the standard profiles are already very well tuned, you don’t have to calibrate too much.If you just want to print small objects from time to time without much tinkering with the 3D printer, the Ender 2 Pro is better for you. It saves you money and space and gives you comparable results. Similar 3D Printers Creality CR-6 SE

This feature is not quite as spectacular, but very practical to keep the surroundings of the 3D printer tidy and clean. Both 3D printers have a tool drawer in their base that holds all the tools you need for the 3D printer. Due to this, the Ender 2 Pro can print PLA and PETG, but is not capable of printing ABS, which requires a 100C bed temperature. The Ender 3 is capable of printing ABS, however you will want to use an enclosure with ABS to prevent warping. The stepper motors move the individual axes via the toothed belts. The toothed belts must be correctly tensioned so that they cannot slip or tear. With many low-budget 3D printers, the adjustment of the toothed belt tension is often very laborious and only possible with tools. If you want to learn more about what to expect with a budget 3D printer, take a look at our article on budget 3D printers for a more detailed analysis. Choosing The Best Budget 3D Printer Using the four rotating wheels of the print bed of both 3D printers, you can adjust the inclination of the print plate so that the paper can be moved with some friction between the nozzle and the print bed. This model from Jukka Seppanen is also one of the excellent looking prints made by the Ender 2 Pro. The silky look of this filament hides the small inconsistencies on some section of the print, but it’s still one of the best I did on this printer.

S hmotností pouhých 4,65 kg je Ender 2 Pro výrazně lehčí než jemu podobné tiskárny. Rukojeť usnadňuje přenášení zařízení.

Affordable, portable and easy to use.

Despite these upgrades, compared to the original Ender 2, the 2 Pro still isn’t perfect with its fair share of flaws.

The printhead cover looks nice, and it covers the 4010 radial fan located at the right of the hotend. This fan is probably enough considering the print speeds and the print size of this printer, but there’s clearly space for having two fans inside the shroud. Adding an extra fan would have increased the cost of the printer with a dollar or two, but it would have improved the part cooling performance significantly. Plastic Single Gear Extruder The Resume Print feature has become a standard. This feature ensures that a power failure cannot completely ruin your print. The Resume Print feature allows the 3D printer to resume printing exactly where it was interrupted by the power outage. However, the print bed of the Ender 2 Pro reaches 60° about half a minute faster than that of the Ender 3 V2. This is simply because the print bed is much smaller and thinner and therefore has less thermal mass to heat up. The Ender 2 Pro isn’t meant to be a powerhouse of a 3D printer, but you still may want to try printing some high-temperature materials such as ABS or ASA. For these materials, though, you’ll need an enclosure to get the best print quality, as these materials like to be surrounded by heat and away from air drafts. Although the Ender 2 Pro doesn’t have a built-in enclosure, there are many options for buying or building one for your printer. The scope of delivery of both 3D printers also includes a MicroSD card with an adapter on which test models and the slicer software is stored. In addition, there is the digital user manual, a troubleshooting guide and a video on the operation of the 3D printer. The belt tensioner is an easy-to-use tool that helps prevent problems such as layer shifts due to insufficient tension. Modern 3D printers often have a touchscreen that you can use to control the menu. Neither the Ender 2 Pro nor the Ender 3 V2 have a touchscreen and must be operated via a rotary knob.
