With writing as wonderfully engaging as Elsewhere, Memoirs of a Teenage Amnesiac will spur readers to think about why they hold on to relationships, activities and emotions like anger when their time has passed. She didn’t' re-join yearbook as a full-time worker, but she did in a way because she had to fill in for Will while he was out sick. It's not nice, but if we all dig deep, we will reluctantly acknowledge that this is sometimes what happens in that growing up stage. I think to enjoy a head trauma/amnesiac book, it's best just to go along for the ride and read the story not getting all caught up in the logistics of the scenario, yeah?

Essentially a love story, it is also an exploration of teenage identity, handled with such a skilful blend of wit, intelligence and tenderness that readers will lose themselves in the story and find themselves in the process.Ace often sneaks into her room at night, but Naomi is not attracted to him and makes him sleep on the floor.
