The curtains are good quality, but not fitted well where it seemed that some of the hooks are no longer attached to the curtain rail. Mr M's marsh burger comes not quite pink enough, but with a perky dill pickle and a mound of chunky chips.

The added bonus was the staff (all of them) who provided first class friendly service and made us feel most at home. Visitors can explore the town’s many historic buildings, including the 16th-century Redesdale Market Hall and the St. The establishment has a cozy and welcoming ambiance, perfect for a casual meal with friends or family. The Inn on the Marsh is a charming and cozy accommodation located in the picturesque town of Moreton-in-Marsh.It was ideal for us, excellent choice of menu, excellent service too, would be happy to visit again. I wish I took a picture of the food which looked like it had been thrown on a plate from the top of a building! Convivial locals who gathered us into their groups and welcomed us with beers and dogs :) Also, walked to Batsford Arboretum and enjoyed exploring there. The restaurant decor was a bit drab and full of clutter, but clean, tidy and tables nicely set up with glasses and knapkins. What was supposed to be a pit stop drink, turned into evening dinner which was delicious, cheese and biscuits, and of course a few more drinks.Rooted deep in Lord of the Rings folklore, The Bell Inn has a large map of Middle Earth adorning the wall above the cosy dining area. The pub has five refurbished en-suite bedrooms, including good options for guests requiring a double, twin, or triple room. The interior is, on closer inspection, a bit too "curated" to have the authenticity its outside suggests. The Globe Inn Marsh, as its pleasingly Dickensian exterior has it emblazoned, is tucked away down a windy lane outside Rye, where the houses give way to nature. The wood oven uses local chestnut, and whether from boat, field, farm, herd of flock – it says – almost everything on the plate comes from nearby.

There is a standard menu complemented by an ever-changing and popular list specialising in oriental food.
