About this deal

Obviously, the sex advice is wonderful, but above everything that makes these books so wonderful is Moen herself.

Reminded me a bit of the classic XXXenophile comics (yes, I mentioned them in my review of the first book as well. They review sex toys, share sex education, interview sex workers, and crack horrible, horrible puns, all in the name of promoting sex positivity. I always read new sex books, and if you are prude or not familiar with different sex lifestyles( and I mean DIFFERENT) you may want to steer clear of this one. You can read the webcomic for free, but I like collecting the volumes for the extras and because I forget to go back to the site every week for a new strip and sometimes miss them. It felt like the Right Project Right Now for me to do as a creator, but I did not predict at all that it would resonate as many people as it has.If the topic is the question of what is sex, then you’re getting all the descriptions and images of what sex can be and is. In the next panel, we’re showing a dark-skinned, older person with greying hair, going to town and eating some big and lightly haired booty. Some were about informative, like OJST, some were about two people getting down, and some were about things that had nothing to do with sex.

Little mini update, to let you all know we’ve changed up our Posting Comics Elsewhere License recently! Plus there’s a bunch of bonus stuff too, if you’ve already been keeping up-to-date with OJST’s weekly update online. We’re also still on the hunt for folks to help us run a Reddit board – Reach out if that sounds like you! Oh Joy Sex Toy was first recommended to me a couple of years ago by my best friend, and I used to read it religiously. It is written and drawn with such gosh-darn sweet enthusiasm by Erika Moen (with the occasional guest-shot from husband Matthew, who provides a dude's perspective) that even if your tastes are tamer than Moen's, I think you'll find it a perfectly wonderful read.

Some of the stand out comics in this issue provided information on how to make good homemade porn, foreskins, HPV, vaginismus, swinger's parties, how porn is made and a review of the book Girl Sex 101, which is the only comic that I remember from when I used to read OJST online, and directly influenced my purchase of that book.

I really like the book reviews, all the strips about the world of porn and the strips about Erika and Matthew's life. They were engaging and playful-Erika even threw in a few nerdy references that made me laugh(or cringe), from Star Trek to Pokemon, with a special appearance from Wall-E.Admittedly, my first go around with the petite did not go so well… I’m still a beginner at anal, and I really struggled with the petite's girth! In this fourth volume, they tackle a variety of interesting topics, including sex toys, what to expect at a gynecologist visit, the question of "what even IS sex? We will never knowingly harvest your data beyond the cookies needed for smooth running of the site, and wouldn't dream of passing it anywhere. Sexy times are illustrated with characters who have a wide range of genders, orientations, and body types, and Moen’s fluid, bouncy brushwork makes the brashest nudity look cute.

It is written and drawn with such gosh-darn sweet enthusiasm by Erika Moen (with the occasional guest-shot from husband Matthew, who provides a dude’s perspective) that even if your tastes are tamer than Moen’s, I think you’ll find it a perfectly wonderful read. The toy reviews covered mostly well known high-end toys, but also mentioned a few toys I had never heard of before (the Womanizer and Eva). I don’t know enough about the complexities of sex positive culture to explain the scope of the educational reach this comic has had.Out of the 7 available shaft rotation patterns, only a couple really stood out to me… But, I really loved how much they spiced up the tip's more standard vibrating patterns! While this is the third volume in the series, each book is written as a standalone so you can pick up and start reading anywhere. As should be the case for any educational graphic novel, surprises abound, and despite what society may dictate, there’s no more shame in not knowing what a buttplug is than there is at not knowing the surgical procedures covered in Medicine: A Graphic History. can be read as a standalone book and should probably be taken as one slice of Moen’s personal exploration of sex.
