Comparing this to GIT (not similar really but both uplifting) I would say GIT is a pick-me-up type of scent if you feel kinda tired, whereas this is for when you have a headache and acts just like a hot cup of tea to enable you to relax. I mean that in a good way, it breaks the norm of smelling the same and show cases the citrus in a different light.Yes, an uplifting lemonade vibe with a splash of Terre de Hermes, the later being a mild vetiver accord I guess. This scent has top notes of bergamot, citron and mandarin, heart notes of cedar, vetiver, patchouli and apple, and base notes of moss, musk and ambroxan. I thought spraying on clothes would make the fragrance last longer but with JC's Man Ice it fades from my clothes just as quickly as on my skin.

I think people don't realize you can become nose blind to this and also it works much better if you wear it in the hot sun and not just any day of the week.There is also lot going in the middle and base notes, which I suspect act as fixatives and prop up those awesome hesperidic and ‘icy’ notes. It also has one of the best pressurized atomizers I've ever had on a bottle similar to Dior Sauvage. This does smell pretty good, but, unless you're a collector, I wouldn't recommend it due to extremely poor longevity and sillage. sort of smells like dry leaves as they start to catch fire, I don't hate it so maybe it will grow on me. Very quickly it turns into a soapier scent where DHC stays very sour citrus and more "green", almost like a lemon or lime rind.

The performance and silage were pretty good likely boosted by ambroxan something I can definitely still smell after 7 hours. Maybe it is the Ambroxen because this Jimmy Choo Ice lasts on my skin all Day 8 plus hours in high Florida heat and it is pretty close to Dior.

Dior Homme Cologne and Azzaro Chrome Sport both perform significantly better, so I'd go with one of them instead (the former for lemonade and the latter for grapefruit with mint). I just tried it and to my nose its very similar to dior homme cologne but something different on a few minute and i found out is actually a mix of dior homme cologne and guerlain cologne because of a bit of creamyness tart on the top. While the performance may not be its strongest suit, lasting around 3-4 hours with light projection, I've found a slightly heavier application enhances the projection without compromising the light and fresh quality.
