So light in the hand and with the long handled version that I bought it is very easy to pull a bend and match it up to the pre marked angles on the guide.

The way that this is put together is perfect - from the built in former, how it is in two pieces makes, and also how the copper is held solid by the first piece before attaching the second piece, really well designed. Solid piece of kit, no flimsy parts and feels strong when using, built in former seems to be built in really well. Plus you can screw the extension pieces into large Double radiator vent threads to help carry between two people really easy!He's a bit cack handed trying to get the guide in and lock in the pipe at the same time, I think this is going to take that point out of it. Also referred to as manual tube benders or conduit benders, they are a versatile tool for many tradesmen and professionals. These benders should last for years as the build quality is of a high standard so in my opinion they are great value for money. The built in former is a big revolution for me only having to keep the bender without any formers it's mint.

Less parts to get lost, nice and simple to use, pretty tight and neat bends, lightweight, 2 piece allows for easy storage. As you can see, it's not the quickest and easiest to pull bends, but it is still my favourite bender.

I don't need extension pieces anyway, probably would for the 22 mil bender if it's the same length as that. You can get your pipe in there, that's sat in there, you don't need another hand then to get your former in so what you do is you put it in, there's plenty of markings around the outside and as you bend, go down a bit further and go a lot tighter.

It was also worth checking out a few on-line videos and investing in a length of 15mm pipe with which to practice in the tool's usage. The aluminium formers are marked with bending angles of 30 45- and 90-degree offsets allowing for accurate bending. They fit in my tool bag, you don't have to waste time finding and inserting a bender guide, they're light and bend consistently without kinking or rippling copper pipe. I'm normally used to my Hilmor where I've got the 15 guide and a 22 mm guide built in, whereas these come in either a 15 or a 22 version. They give an amazing finish to the pipe and are so much easier to use than the standard pipe menders and formers.The precision form wheels are accurately positioned pre set rollers means you will get a perfect pipe bend every time you use it.
