I've added everything I could think of so no further updates are planned. The mod only focuses on including the talking cards from Part 1 into Kaycee's Mod so there's not much more to add. With plenty of thought-provoking questions for pupils to answer, these talk task resources are fantastic for encouraging them to get involved in class discussions and build their skills at expressing themselves through speech. It’s also a great way for pupils to learn how to listen to one another and share their ideas. And if you have trouble getting the conversation flowing, this printable set of conversation question cards could be just what you need! Don't force them to speak if they don't want to! Also, allow them to speak in their native language to help them feel more comfortable.

These conversation cards are great for a whole class activity. You could print out a bunch of these cards and randomly hand them out to children. Then get them to walk around the classroom for a few minutes before you tell them to stop. Children should then use their conversation card to talk to the person nearest to them. After talking to them, children can exchange their cards and find someone else in the classroom to talk to. This is great for giving them lots of speaking practise. These speaking and listening activities are perfect for helping your students develop their skills. Supporting parents to find more opportunities to interact with their child within their daily routine, and offering guidance on how best to do this, will support the development of their child’s language and communication skills. Parents' lives are busy and despite good intentions, between the school run, food shop, and work, the opportunities to engage their child in interactive conversations and play can be limited. In addition, the ability of many parents to interact with their child will be affected by personal experiences and financial pressures. This trail makes it easy to engage with children without having to think about how to do so. These conversation cards include simple text, with ideas and prompts for various conversations topics. For example, some cards ask your students to think discuss their favourite celebrity, something they have done recently, or something that makes them happy. You could even encourage your students to walk around the classroom asking different questions, or discussions to their classmates. Not only does this resource help students that may not be confident engaging in conversation, it also helps them to practise their speaking and listening skills. They will be able to expand on their vocabulary, too!If you have the MycoMerger mod installed, you can also set TalkingCardsNontalkingMerge to true to allow the talking cards to be merged with their non-talking counterpart at the Mycologists event. You can change what that counterpart is in the configuration but the recommended default is Talking Stoat with Stoat, Stinkbug with RingWorm, and Stunted Wolf with Wolf. When setting the card name in the configuration, it must be the internal card name and not the displayed card name.
