Episodes 3 hours ago Ireland’s Most Evil Killers: Charlotte And Linda Mulhall (Sky Crime Thursday 2 November 2023) Cast: Veronica Quilligan (Hazel Donnelly), Gretchen Franklin (Mrs. Porter), Garfield Morgan (Brian Donnelly), Geoffrey Morris (Vet) A co-author (even someone who wasn’t a series insider) who could have offered insight into the characters – and perhaps into the social history that time has turned the series into – would have made this book very special. Anne of Avonlea 1 9 7 5 (UK) 6 x 60 minute episodes A sequel to the 1972 BBC series Anne of Green Gables,…While the series appeared to be aimed solely at young girls with an interest in horses, it was actually marketed towards teenagers and young people in general. It challenged the popular conception of Britain being a "nation of animal lovers" and carried the underlying message that animals and people all deserved a second chance. Hello Yellow - 80 Books to Help Children Nurture Good Mental Health and Support With Anxiety and Wellbeing - Cast: John Cater (Clem Barrett), Betty Turner (Mrs. Barrett), Ron Welling (Horse Owner), Peter Whitbread (Auctioneer), Ray Witch (Shopkeeper)

Gip Willens (Bryan Sweeney): young boy who loves horses but has little idea how to look after them. After Ron spins him a line about Follyfoot being a place where horses are tortured, Steve has his work cut out trying to convince him otherwise and it takes the near-death of Gip's horse to win him round.

The eccentric Colonel is a horse lover who owns Follyfoot Farm, a sanctuary for distressed, neglected and rescued horses. The book considered the rights of horses who had given faithful service all their life, promoting the message they should be allowed to end their days in peace in a comfortable home, rather than being euthanised. Another popular series, although it is really more of a general animal series rather than pony one, it does include a strong pony element, as the main character is horse-mad! If you like Follyfoot I would recommend these books. I thought people can be cruel but what happened to some of these horses is disgraceful, well written
